Good morning! It's that time of year again. A reminder that it is once again hurricane season. Don't forget that flood policies on homes that are not going through a loan transaction have a thirty day wait. Don't wait until July to get a policy if you need one because if a loss happens and the policy has not gone into effect, you're still not covered. Also, most companies will not let us write if there is a named storm in the Gulf. So, whether it's flood or dwelling coverage you need, you want to get it early rather than having to worry about whether or not you got it too late!
